Brian
Background:
Brian was an Eastern Long Island resident. He recently lost his battle with cancer and left a wife and two young children. His struggle was long and, at one point, we all felt he had acheived remission and beat this disease. Unfortunately, his remission was not a lasting one. The cancer returned in July of 2009 and brought him down that same month in the prime of his life at 40 years of age. As you can imagine, his medical expenses presented a financial challenge to him and his family. Hopefully our grant to his family will give them some financial relief and allow his widow to focus on her and her children's emotional well being.
The Margaret Rose Kennedy Foundation has given a grant to Brian's widow to cover non-reimbursed medical expenses.
