The Margaret Rose Kennedy Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing need based financial aid to those with cancer related medical expenses not covered by health insurance.




 

 

This photo of Bonnie Sonbert, one of Margaret's many best friends, and Margaret was taken on vacation in Puerto Rico. Bonnie passed away from breast/ovarian cancer on November 14, 2001. 

It's a tragic fact of life that many are battling cancer. However, to be battling cancer and to not be able to pay for the medical procedures needed to survive this terrible disease is unacceptable. It's up to all of us to help those cancer victims with limited financial resources.

 

Our Annual Golf outing was held on August 12, 2011. The weather was great and our golfers and guests enjoyed a full day of fun. Ken Kneisel had the longest drive and low score. Rich Worrall captured the lowest net score. Joe Dragone was closest to the pin and missed winning a new Infiniti G37 by only a foot! The food was great and the auctions and raffles were exciting. The 50/50 was won by Phil Kennedy who graciously donated the proceeds right back to the foundation. Bottom line is this year's event was very successful. Our sincere thanks to all our volunteers, golfers, and guests.
